Yes. All credit card information submitted is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the recognized standard of the online industry. It is an advanced technology used by all major e-commerce organizations including banks and credit card companies.
Is my donation income tax deductible?
If you live in the US, yes. If you live elsewhere, probably no (however this depends on your country's tax law).
Will I get a receipt for my credit card gift?
Yes. Campus Crusade for Christ will mail you a tax-deductible receipt for each credit card contribution you make, as well as mid-year and year-end statements. If you give monthly by credit card, you can request the option of receiving only the mid-year and year-end statements, rather than a monthly receipt.
Are there any credit card fees attached to my gift?
Yes. 2.35% of your credit card donation will be deducted from your gift to Crescendo to cover the cost of the fee that the credit card companies charge Campus Crusade for Christ for the transaction.
If you would like to avoid this fee (e.g. for large donations or donations on a regular basis) just contact us at info@crescendo.org - we will try to find the best solution for you.
How long does it take until my gift reaches you?
At most one month. CCC transfers funds overseas at the beginning of each month.
What can I do if I made a mistake or had trouble with the web page?
Don't worry. Your submission generates a record, which is later retrieved and processed by the Credit Card Administrator. If you do have a problem, please call 888 CRUSADE (888-278-7233), option 4, so we can process your gift accurately.
Can I use a debit or check card to make my gift?
Yes. As long as the card is issued by a major credit card company, you can use it just like a credit card.

If you live in Switzerland or Germany, Campus Crusade for Christ Switzerland will mail you a receipt for all contributions you make at the end of the year. If you live in any other country, you will get no receipt since your donation is not income tax deductible.
